make up and what not

Hey guys!! So I'm going to start posting my make-up tips I mean I have nothing else to blog about. (Everyone gasps loudly)

OK, below is a picture of me with all the bells and whistles
(sorry about the picture, not really professional, but hey being serious is over rated)
so to the normal eye it looks like I barely  have any make-up on, well your eye is correct!
Everyone is always  telling me they love my make-up (not trying to sound cocky)
and I just want to tell them I don't put to much into it and its really not that much, but with being a cosmetologist I have to appear that I spend a lot of time on it.

I use the the basics. which I believe everybody can use a touch of make-up. Yea Yea there's always natural beauty and some people can pull that off. I'm by no means trying to change what people look like just simply enhancing their features! The products I'm about to list anyone can use and its not going to make you look dramatic.
1. Moisturizer  is very important I never put it on until I started getting dry patches on my cheek bones. There are many types you just have to use one for your skin type: dry, oily, or combination. I have combination skin because my pores are medium size all the way around. So the moisturizer that I use is Dead sea salt moisturizing day cream  I love this stuff because just a little can go along way. I actually got this at a kiosk in the mall, but if you Google dead sea salt I'm sure you can find it.

Make-up wise
2. I start with a primer Hard Candy Sheer Envy Skin Perfection Primer  this is supposed to even out your skin tone, but to be honest I don't notice, but it makes my face feel nice. Walmart 8$

3.  liquid foundation  basically just to equal out my uneven skin tone
#MixedGirlProbs
Yes. I do have freckles that I cover up... at least some of them.
Its CoverGirl 750 Creamy beige. Like I  said I only use this to even my skin tone so I don't put it on all over my face just mostly on my "T" zone area or anywhere I have any blemishes. You can find this at any store that sells makeup and It's not really expensive.

4. Next I do my eyes. Now I don't wear eye shadow everyday, But when I do I apply
Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer  it's an Anti-crease primer and it works wonders, But it doesn't really work if you wear cream eye shadow its really difficult to apply with primer on.
As for Eyeliner I've gone back and forth with the pencil, stick, and cream and out of those I like the cream its so easy to apply and you can control your line a lot better. If I do use a pencil then it has to be from sephora. They have the best eyeliner, it doesn't run!!  I use cream as of now, and that's the ELF brand. ELF is so so so cheap. but it's so good! Walmart\Target 3$

5. I have yet to find a great Mascara. I mean I have "good" ones but they're not GREAT I don't have long eyelashes anyways so it's not really noticeable when I do wear it. I have many, but the one I've been using is Blinc Tubing Mascara  it leaves these tubes at the ends of your lashes to make them look longer. So far its done good, but like I said I want GREAT!!

6. On to my favorite, now I don't use any powder base I just use bronzer Too Faced Sun Bunny  I absolutely love this stuff! My only problem is it gets everywhere I'm constantly cleaning my bathroom of bronzer dust, but I don't care. I apply it all over my face but add a little extra to my "T" zone. Its AMAZING
It is a little expensive, but its worth it. you can get it form sephora or ulta 30$

7. Next is some lip gloss. I only where gloss cause I like the shiny gloss look.First I use a lip exfoliate because definitely in the winter my lips stay dry, so I always use my exfoliater and either just go with Maybellene Baby Lips or just a normal gloss.

8. Last but not least I set my make-up with ELF Makeup Mist and Set it has aloe, green tea, cucumber and vitamins A,C and E. It really refreshes my face and keeps my make-up looking vibrant all day. Like I said before ELF products are not expensive and they are really good. Walmart\Target 3$

well that's all I got, doesn't take much for me maybe in another post I'll talk about how to tell which skin type you are because it really does help to know so your using the right products.
